Assam: Another 4 Succumbed to COVID-19

Another four persons succumbed to COVID-19 on Friday taking the Assam's toll to 34, informed State Health and Family Welfare Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma through his twitter handle.

The deceased has been identified as Rakhal Deb (42), Ramesh Kayastha (68), Sukhamay Bhowmik (72) and Arachidonic Baruah Saikia (70). They were admitted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) ICU.

The minister in his tweet said, "Very sad to inform that four #COVID patients – Sri Rakhal Deb (42), Sri Ramesh Kayastha (68), Sri Sukhamay Bhowmik (72), Smt Arachidonic Baruah Saikia (70); admitted at GMCH  ICU succumbed to the infection."
