Assam BJP MLA tests positive for Covid-19

A BJP legislator of the state has tested positive for coronavirus on Monday, sources said.

He was identified as Krishnendu Paul. He was elected as an MLA in the 2016 assembly elections from Patherkandi constituency. His swab samples were collected under the Assam Targeted Surveillance Programme.
