Assam: Here Are the Inter-District Travel Rules

The state government of Assam has issued some rules and regulations for the inter-district movement of citizens for two days on July 30-31. The bus service which will move from one district to another will have to follow certain norms.

A bus can carry only 50 percent passengers and the travelers have been asked to maintain COVID-19 protocols during the journey. People should wear a mask while travelling and should also maintain social distancing.

The journey will be started only after the screening of the passengers.

However, the movement is restricted for Containment Zone areas.

Meanwhile, 11 buses would travel from Guwahati to Upper Assam while a total of 51 buses will travel in the entire state.
