The Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) has launched its first ever mobile application for online ticket booking on Monday at Inter-State Bus Terminal (ISBT), Guwahati.

The State Transport Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary unveiled the ASTC application. Commuters can track the ASTC buses on a map and use the information to plan commute to the boarding point and to get off at the right stop.

Family members and friends can also check the bus location to coordinate pick-ups and rest assured about safety.

Six new ASTC buses have been launched during the programme.
