Assam Parasuram Kund devotees attacked in Arunachal

Several devotees of Parsuram Kund from Assam sustained injuries on Saturday night in Arunachal Pradesh after miscreants attacked the bus they were travelling in. The incident took place at Chowkham area in Arunachal Pradesh, when the devotees were returning back to Assam from the sacred place.

Around 25 devotees of Parsuram Kund from Assam were returning back from the sacred destination in an ASTC bus bearing registration number AS-20-1517 when they were suddenly attacked by a group of unidentified miscreants and pelted stones upon the vehicles. The miscreants also damaged the windowpanes of the bus carrying the pilgrims from Assam and thrashed the driver and the handyman of the bus.

The Parsuram Kund has been recognized as a pilgrim spot and is visited by a large number of devotees from across the globe.
