Assam Police SI steals mobile, caught in camera

An Assam Police Sub Inspector Debeshwar Sharma was caught red-handed for stealing a mobile from the restaurant at Jorabat near Guwahati.

According to victim Raju Sharma, he was having food in the restaurant and kept the mobile in the charging station near the cash counter.

The accused police official Debeshwar Sharma and one of his accomplice was also having food in the restaurant. During the bill payment, Debeshwar Sharma quietly pocketed the mobile.

Raju Sharma after some time went to collect the mobile found it was missing. The owner of the hotel checked the CCTV and found that it was stolen by the police officer. Accordingly, an FIR was lodged and Basistha Police arrested the Sub-inspector, Debeshwar Sharma. The mobile was also recovered from his possession.
