In an effort to improve the coordination within the force, Assam Police on Friday will host a day-long meeting between the state's top police officers and the constabulary. This will be the first time ever that such a meeting will be held in Assam.

The main purpose behind this meeting is to reduce the communication gap between senior police officers and constables of Assam Police and incorporate the inputs provided by the constables.

In the interactive session, an estimated 500 constables, representing various districts of the state, will assemble in Guwahati. Every single top police officers of the state will also be present in the meeting.

In the meeting, the constables apart from interacting with the senior officers will also be able to interact with their counterparts from other districts.
