The state of Assam reported 21 new COVID cases on Sunday in Assam, while 54 patients were discharged today. The total number of cases in the state now stands at 2,17,141.

The active caseload has reduced to 534. The recoveries have touched 2,14,178 with 98.64 percent.

No death was reported today. The tally stands at 1,082.

Meanwhile, the vaccination process is underway and so far 38, 106 have taken COVID jabs.
