Good newsfor Assam's unemployed youths as following an order of the Gauhati High Court(GHC), the Assam government has decided to conduct the Teacher Eligibility Test(TET) 2019. The examination will be held on October 20, 2019 for Lower Primaryand Upper Primary level.

The governmenthas invited online applications from the candidates, who intend to appear inPaper I (Lower Primary) and Paper II (Upper Primary) of TET. The opening forreceipt of online application is September 2, 2019 while the last date ofreceipt of online application is September 17, 2019.

The e-admitfor the examination will be issued on September 30.

Thereare total 7 zones across Assam and after qualifying in TET, the candidates willget preference for engagement as a teacher in his/her preferred zone.
