Assam & Tripura To be Worse Affected with CAB: KMSS

Reacting onUnion Home Minister Amit Shah's stand on Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB),Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) chief Akhil Gogoi said that theirprediction was right.

Amit Shah onSaturday said that CAB will be implemented in the states other than the 6thschedule area and inner line permit area. Reacting to it KMSS chief said withthe implementation of CAB Assam and Tripura will be loaded with foreignersadding that this condition will not be accepted.

Gogoi saidthat another lure will come from Delhi and that lure has been taken to Delhi bythe state government.

Gogoi said, "HimantaBiswa Sarma said that 5-6 lakhs of foreigners will come once CAB will beimplemented but that is not true. With the implementation of CAB, 20 lakhspeople will grant citizenship and around 1 crore 70 lakhs people will enterAssam in the future."

He furtherstated that the Constitution of India will be violated once CAB will beimplemented in the state adding that they won't accept CAB in anycircumstances.

He alsoappealed to the people not to accept the conditions of the BJP who went toDelhi adding that if the Hindus are assaulted in Bangladesh then Prime MinisterNarendra Modi should stop this with social power by sending army personnel.
