In an unusual incident, two journalists from Assam 's South Salmara-Mankachar have been missing since Thursday last.

Journalists Mizanur Rahman and Delwar Hussain had gone to Kolkata for news coverage of Durga Puja celebrations across the city.

They went missing while returning to Assam via rail.

Both journalists worked for a regional news channel.
