"Mistake" and "Alert Condition: Red" have been selected for Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival to be held at Mumbai on February 20. Both the shorts films have been directed by Assamese director Xahid Khan.

The festival has sections for feature films, short films, documentaries, animations, music videos and ad films.

"Official selection of both the films at such a prestigious film festival is really great. I hope our films bring more good news to my home state Assam," Xahid told IANS.

"Both the films will be screened as well as compete with other films at the festival," he added.

"Alert Condition: Red" is film about a girl, who gets her first period in a public place. "Mistake" tells the story of a girl, who one day sends a message to her father instead of her boyfriend by mistake.

It is India's only independent international film festival, with a mission to celebrate the cinema & work of aspiring , young, independent & professional filmmakers.
