Assam’s Debajit Changmai invited as voting Member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences

Assam born talented sound designer Debajit Changmai has been invited to become a voting member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences along with 19 other personalities from the Indian film industry.

The Academy is known around the world for its annual Academy Awards, now officially known as 'The Oscars'.

Debajit Changmai is a renowned and famous sound designer among the Bollywood fraternity. His work includes sound mixing/designing for number of Bollywood movies like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Jagga Jasoos, Raazi, Babhubaali-2, Dangal, Kick, Swades, Veere Di Wedding, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and others to name a few.

Born in Assam's Sibsagar, Debajit Changmai won three consecutive IIFA's Best Sound Mixing award for Barfi (2013), Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2014) and Haider (2015).
