In another proud moment for the state, Hima Das from Assam has booked her berth in the Asian Games. She clinched Gold in the women's 200 metres race at the 58th National Inter State Senior Athletics Championship held in Guwahati on Wednesday.

It may be mentioned here that she finished the race at a personal best of 23.10 seconds.

Hailing from Nagaon district, she had represented India at the 21st Commonwealth Games in Australia earlier this year.

She expressed happiness on running her personal best at her home track.
