Organisations such as All Guwahati Drivers' Association and Motor Drivers Union came out in support of the Bharat Bandh on Wednesday at Adabari and barred the entry of city buses to the city.

This has led to chaos among commuters of the city.

As per reports, bandh supporters have also dragged drivers and passengers out of city buses, including government city buses run by ASTC.
