During an operation carried out by Barpeta police, two bike lifters have arrested from the Bijni region in Barpeta on Friday.

As per reports, both of the accused have identified as Habijul Bhuyan (22) and Akibul Bhuyan (18), residents of the Palhajir region in Barpeta.

Reportedly, following tip-off police started a sudden operation and arrested both the bike lifters in red-handed, when they were coming towards Barpeta road from Bijni.

Moreover, police have seized three theft bikes also from the accused.
