Bike Thieves Arrested from Guwahati Railway Station

In an operation launched by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Guwahati Railway Station, two bike thieves have been arrested along with bikes.

The RPF said that the thieves had brought two bullets from Delhi in Champak Kranti Express. After being reached Guwahati on Tuesday morning at 9.15, they kept the bikes at the parcel godown in the station.

The thieves have been caught red-handed on Wednesday when they werelifting the bikes in a Tata Maximo vehicle from the station.

The arrested thieves have been identified as Abung Khaba of Manipur andBasistha Prasad of Uttar Pradesh.

The RPF said that they have brought the bikes by preparing fakedocuments. Police also arrested the driver of the Tata Maximo Lalu Kumar.
