BJP member arrested for posting anti-India status

One after another, youths from the State have been arrested by police for making anti-national or pro-Pakistan comments on social networking sites. In a recent development, a ruling party worker has been detained by Lakhimpur police on Tuesday.

BJP Yuva Morcha member Rahul Tanti has been detained by Lakhimpur police for making posting 'Pakistan Zindabad' comment on social networking site facebook.

His father Rajib Tanti is the president of BJP Ujjalpur Booth Committee in Lakhimpur.

Notably, BJP national president Amit Shah addressed a huge gathering of BJP Yuva Morcha in North Lakhimpur on Sunday.
