Suspected Mizo militants on Friday carried out a blast in a mosque at Kachurthal area of Assam's Hailakandi district along the Assam-Mizoram border.

Till the filing of this report no causalities have been reported and a team of police investigation team had reached the spot to carry out the preliminary investigation.

The place of incident is around 7 kilometer from Hailakandi town.
