In yet another shocking incident, a blast rocked Golakganj town under Dhubri district last night.

According to reports, the blast occurred over the National Highway 31 near Rakhalpath area. Later, police recovered another bomb from the scene.

Meanwhile, Bomb squad defused the device immediately after recovery. "It was a homemade bomb," said police after the recovery.

Though no casualty has been reported yet, police started their investigation to the bomb blast incident.

It should be noted that, a grenade blast claimed two lives in upper Assam's Demow last evening.
