Blood Racket Busted in GMCH

The Bhangagarh Police has busted a blood racket at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Monday while some people were selling blood to patients at exorbitant prices.

According to reports, a team of four members were selling blood at the hospital in exchange of a huge sum of money and based on complaints, the Bhangagarh Police have arrested one Bokul Talukdar, resident of Guwahati and Niyakat Ali of Gauripur.

Police arrestedthe culprits at GMCH when they were caught red-handed while selling blood.

Police, however,said that two others have escaped from the spot.
