In a major development in the Mukesh Hyundai employee assault incident, MD Rishabh Himatsingka has been arrested by Dispur Police from a resort at Sonapur.

Acting on specific inputs, Dispur Police arrested Rishabh from Disang Resort where he was hiding to avoid arrest. Earlier, the Police had informed that the MD was not cooperating with them.

It may be mentioned here that Rishabh had physically assaulted an employee of his establishment on July 05, which had led to an uproar across the state. The employee was also forced to kneel down and hold his years.

Numerous protests were also staged by numerous groups and organisations, demanding a public apology from the MD.
