BSF arrests two Bangladeshi nationals in Tripura

The Border Security Force (BSF) on the evening of July 06 detained two Bangladeshi nationals from the border area at Chamabasti region, Champahowar in West Tripura while they were trespassing into Indian territory illegally.

The detainees have been identified as Rakesh Das, aged 35 and Tapash Kanti Kar, aged 32. Both hail from Karungichera in Bangladesh.

The BSF later handed over both individuals to the Police.

Bangladeshi currency worth Rs 18,300 were also seized from Das and Kar. They are presently in police custody for further interrogation.
