Cache of arms recovered in Udalguri

Arms have been recovered from two places in Udalguri on Sunday.

Harisinga police station's Officer-in-Charge Premanku Hazarika and Bhergaon Sub Divisional Police Officer Nirmal Ghosh launched a cordon and search operation and recovered arms at 4 a.m. today in four number Amjuli area under the Harisinga police station.

Two AK 56, three magazines, 7.6, .62 mm pistol's 71 bullets were recovered.

Meanwhile, Udalguri Deputy Superintendent of Police Moinul Islam and Officer-in-Charge Nayan Patangia recovered two pistols from Sindijora forest.
