Car catches fire in Guwahati

In a shocking incident in Survey, Guwahati, car caught fire on Friday. The driver and other occupants of the car managed to get out in time before the car caught fire.

According to sources, the owner of the car named Minoti Kakoty was on her way from Ganesguri to Beltola, when all of a sudden, it caught on fire. The car which caught fire was a Maruti 800 car, bearing number AS 06 C 0114.

After receiving notice of the incident, the Fire Brigade personnel rushed to the spot and tried to bring the blaze under control.

The reason behind the fire's breakout is said to be a short circuit inside the vehicle. No casualties have been reported so far.
