Haluating police arrested a car lifter in red-handed from Paradise Hotel on Wednesday in the Haluating region.

As per reports, the accused has been identified as AnuwarHussain, resident of the Baghbar region in Barpeta.

It may be stated that he was going towards Nagaland from Guwahati to sell the car when the police arrested him. Police have registered a suo moto case (38/19) against the thief and started investigation in this regard.

Moreover, there were three more car lifters with him but taking the chance, they could manage to escape from the scene easily. However, since the last few days Haluating became a dangerous car lifting corridor.
