Cash seized, 2 Bhutanese held in Chirang

In a SST, Flying Squad and police's joint operation in Runikhata of Chirang's Indo-Bhutan border, an amount of Rupees Three Lakhs has been seized from two Bhutanese citizens.
The cash had been carried in a suspicious Scorpio vehicle.
The car had been registered under the number – AS 01 DV 1033. It may be noted that the vehicle had a 'On Election Duty' sticker on it.
The two Bhutanese citizens have been identified as Digmay Dorji and Rinchan Trechigeng and the driver of the vehicle has been identified as Anowar Hussain.
Along with the vehicle, the two Bhutanese citizens and the driver have been taken to the Runikhata police station for interrogation.
According to reports, Magistrate Ringkhang Musahary is present at the scene for further investigation.
