Cattle laden truck seized in Hojai

Cattle syndicates are not a new subject for the people of Assam in thesedays. The syndicates have been running in various parts of the state for a longtime.

On Monday night Morajhar police have seized a cow laden truck (AS 02BC 1657) along with 34 cows, at the Jamunagaon region. But fortunately, taking help ofdarkness two of the cow smugglers identified as Giyasuddin and Washir had fledaway from the scene.

Moreover, police have already registered a case in this regard and started a search mission in this regard.

It may be stated that both of the accused Giyasuddin and Washir are still on the run.
