United People's Revolutionary Front (UPRF) Chairman has been arrested from Manja in East Karbi Anglong district of Assam. This information came in from defence sources.

Acting on inputs, a unit of the Red Horns division had launched a search operation with the police in Manja on Sunday and the UPRF chairman was caught, said the sources on Monday.

A .75 mm pistol, ammunition and a rubber stamp of the UPRF were also recovered from him.
