Chapar PS gheraoed by over 500 people

More than five hundred people on Saturday staged protest in front of Chapar Police Station in Dhubri district demanding justice for businessman Biju Paul's murder case.

As per the reports, Paul's dead body was recovered from Amguri area in Kokrajhar on June 20. Earlier, he went missing on May 29.

"We want immediate action against those, who were involved in the murder of Biju Paul," said a protester. "The culprits should be nabbed at the earliest," added another.

Meanwhile, Chapar PS officer-in-charge, later assured the protesters to take all the possible measures to nab the accused and said that an investigation regarding the incident was initiated.
