CJI Gogoi Visits Kamakhya Temple Today

Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi on Monday visited Maa Kamakhya temple on Monday along with his wife to seek blessings after the historic verdict on Ayodhya land dispute delivered on November 9.

CJI Gogoi ison a two-day visit to Guwahati and on Sunday he attended a book releaseprogramme at ITA Machkhowa.

Duringhis visit to Assam, the CJI also visited his native village at Khaliamari inDibrugarh district.

Meanwhile,CJI Gogoi plans to settle in Guwahati after his retirement on November 17.Also, the Gauhati High Court last week passed a resolution to extend theservices of a dedicated private secretary, peon, and a chauffeur-driven vehicleto Gogoi after he retires as the CJI.
