CM Sonowal takes stock of education scenario in Dibrugarh

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Friday held a meeting with the heads of various schools and colleges of Dibrugarh and discussed the educational scenario of the district.

Sonowal urged the principals to inculcate human values and ethics among the students of their institutions.

Stressing on promoting Swachh habits and the mission to eradicate superstition, the CM urged the principals to involve teachers, students, guardians and local residents to create awareness in the areas near their institutions.

During his visit to the district, the CM also felicitated Sonali Karketta and Bandana Pator from Dikom Tea Estate and Pallavi Das Panika from Hokonguri Tea Estate at his residence. The three students were selected to pursue higher education at the prestigious Asian University for Women (AUW) in Bangladesh's Chittagong.
