CM Sonowal Visits Tarun Gogoi at GMCH

Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal visited Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) to take stock of the health condition of former chief minister Tarun Gogoi.

Visiting the hospital, Sonowal said, "I came to meet Tarun Gogoi as a son. I wish him a speedy recovery. We have still many works to do together for the development of the state and people. He also spoke to me with a good heart. We have not discussed anything about politics."

Gogoi is happy with the treatment that he received during his stay in the hospital, said Sonowal.

Tarun Gogoi, who was admitted to the hospital on Sunday night after he fell ill is now stable and also sends a message to the people of the state through a telephonic conversation from the ICU of GMCH.
