A vehicle of Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal's convoy met with an accident on Friday around 12 PM near Goroimari area in Tezpur. A Bolero of NSG convoy of the CM collided with a Swift Dzire and an official of the NSG team sustained injuries.

According to eyewitnesses, thedriver of the Swift Dzire, lost control of his vehicle and rammed into the minister's convoy that heading towards Rangapara.

At the time of filing this report, Assam CM arrived Rangapara, where he would be taking part in the Labour Welfare Day programme and will address the gathering.
