Chief Minister of Assam Sarbananda Sonowal will visit Gohpur today to condole with Jharkhand martyr Niraj Chetry's family.

The CM is slated to reach Chetry's residence by 11 AM.

Niraj Chetry was killed in an encounter that broke out between SSB and Maoists in Jharkhand on Sunday.

Chetry joined SSB in 2014. He was supposed to tie the nuptial knot in coming December.
