Committee constituted to rehabilitate NDFB surrendered cadres

The Home Department of Assam on Thursday constituted a committee for the rehabilitation of the surrendered National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) cadres.

A nine member high-level committee was constituted by the home department of the region and the IGP was appointed the chairman of the committee.

The rehabilitation of the surrendered NDFB cadres is a part of the comprehensive Bodo peace accord. The rehabilitation will be provided on the basis of age, education, and other criteria.
