Congress-BJP join hands in Nalbari

Ahead of the coming Lok Sabha Elections, the major political parties of the country – the BJP and the Congress have joined their hands in Nalbari district of Assam.

According to reports, the Congress members of different wards under Nalbari Municipality Board (NMB) have extended their support to the board's chairperson to retain the post. With the support of three Congress members and three BJP members she retained the post of chairperson in the municipality board.

Meanwhile, she has been opposed by three BJP and one AGP members.
