Congress fields Nabam Tuki and Wanglat in Arunachal

The Congress party on Saturday night released the fourth list of 27 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. The party is fielding former Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Nabam Tuki from Arunachal West seat and James Lowangcha Wanglat from Arunachal East seat.

Nabam Tuki was the CM of the State twice between 2011 and 2016, while James Lowangcha Wanglat was four-time MLA of Arunachal. He also served as Home, Finance and Civil Supplies Minister of the State.

Meanwhile, All India Mahila Congress general secretary and leader of the party from Arunachal- Jarjum Ete resigned from the party's primary membership following party ticket to Ex-CM Nabam Tuki from Arunachal West LS seat. She was an aspirant from the seat.
