Congress party is full of leaders, not workers: B. Kalita

After joining BJP, former Rajy sabha MP Bhubaneswar Kalita had reached Assam on Sunday. Landing at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport Guwahati, Kalita had directly come to the BJP head office where he was welcomed by Assam BJP president Ranjit Dass.

Addressing a press meet, Kalita thanked to Ranjit Dass for giving him the opportunity to arrange the press meet there. Praising Kalita, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "Opposing the controversial Article 370, Kalita had resigned from Congress and joined BJP. The leadership of Bhubaneswar Kalita, Assam BJP will be more powerful."

In the press meet Kalita said "I believe in the principle of BJP. PM Modi is success to build a united India. The citizens of India, need a dynamic leadership. PM Modi is success in the each sectors of development in the country. There were no any discussion on the abrogation of Article 370 in Congress or other opposition parties. I felt completely disturbed with the leader less Congress Party and decided to resign from Rajya sabha and supported the abrogation of Article 370. India have to lead the nearby countries also. PM Modi led BJP have the capability to lead the nation in full swing. And following the dynamism I have joined BJP."

Answering a question regarding CAB, he said, "CAB is not a point of discussion now. Earlier also BJP had told everything regarding CAB in their election manifesto, and the voters elected them to power." He added, Congress is the party which contains only the leaders. But I am so happy to get the workers here."
