Taking it to Twitter, Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday informed about the update of AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal's health and two other political leaders.

The All India Union Democratic Front chief was tested positive for COVID-19 in Mumbai on Saturday. Sarma tweeted Ajmal is admitted at a Mumbai hospital after a mild dip in his oxygen saturation level, "I am in constant touch with his family and monitoring his health. I join all in wishing him speedy recovery".

Meanwhile, Sarma also wished former colleague and friend Indian National Congress leader Sushmita Dev. "She is under treatment at SMCH, Silchar, after having tested + for #COVID," adding, "Another friend and colleague, MLA Bolin Chetia, also test  COVID and under treatment at Tinsukia Civil Hospital. I am monitoring their health and also spoke to both of them".
