COVID-19 Assam: 1218 active cases recorded

Assam as of date has recorded 1218 active cases of coronavirus infection on Friday pushing the active cases tally in the state to 7705.

Out of 1218 active cases, 570 patients are from Kamrup (Metro), stated Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma.

He also said, 551 recovered patients were discharged last evening. The state has discharged 14,105 recovered patients so far.

Meanwhile, 51 victims have succumbed to the deadly virus.

The total number of positive cases now stands at 21864.
