2112 new coronavirus cases were recorded on Thursday taking the state tally's active cases to 9230.

41028 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Kamrup (M) has reported 283 cases, Nagaon has 211 cases, Kamrup (R) has 210 cases and Sonitpur has 132 cases today. The  positivity rate is 5.14%

Meanwhile, 1248 patients have been discharged today informed minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. 29080, patients have been discharged so far. "The consistency of our good recovery rate is a reflection of continuous efforts and dedication of our teams. Gratitude," said the minister.

Total positive cases stands at 38407.
