Assam has recorded fresh 936 active cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) on Friday evening, out of which 521 cases are from Guwahati.

The total tally of the active cases has escalated to 5650, taking the overall tally of positive cases to 15536 so far.

As of date, 9848 patients have recovered and 701 patients were discharged yesterday. 35 patients have lost their lives.
