Five more persons succumbed to coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in Assam on Thursday, pushing the death toll to 126, Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted.

Condoling the deaths, the minister gave details about the persons who passed away today. The deceased have been identified as Asab Uddin (50) & Sentulal Saha (70) of Karimganj, Manuranjan Paul (63) of Dibrugarh, Ram Surat Gowala (77) of Tinsukia and Dhiren Kalita (55) of Kamrup Metro.
