In a latest update, Assam minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed on Wednesday evening that four more patients succumbed to coronavirus infection pushing the death tally to 92.

Sharing the details of the deceased, "Very sad to share that four more COVID-19 patients have lost their battle against pandemic today- Shri Bimal Paul (78) from Cachar, Smt Hema Devi (77) from Tinsukia and Dr S.A.W. Hussain (85) & Smt Debari Karmakar (40) from Jorhat," and  extended his condolences, "May God help their families to bear this pain".
