Random testing for COVID-19 will be conducted in Guwahati on July 19. Representatives of District Administration will go from shop to shop and conduct random tests.

The results of the swab tests will be given to the store owners immediately. The store-keepers will have to furnish their respective reports to the customers if they demand.

Health officials will also go to public and private offices, and will conduct random tests for COVID-19 on employees.
