COVID-19 Guwahati: Deceased resident of Kumarpara tests positive

A deceased man in Guwahati tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) on Saturday.

The deceased Anuwar Ullah, a resident of Kumarapara passed away on June 25 at Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMC).

The dead body was the sent to the morgue on June 26 for testing of COVID-19. On June 29, the test results were confirmed positive. The family was informe.

Anuwar Ullah was buried on July 1 at the Athgaon Chabipool Kabarstan by district administration in the presence of only family members.

There has been no declaration made by the government of Assam as on date.
