COVID-19: Hajo’s Hayagriva Madhava Temple Closes Doors

With the threat of the pandemic getting even more menacing, the iconic Shri Shri Hayagriva Madhav Temple of Hajo has closed its doors to devotees today for an indefinite period.   

Same decision has been taken by Panchatirtha Devalaya.

Hajo is famous for its religious places. The economy of the place, among other things, also depends on religious tourism. Home to religious sites important to three different religions – Hinduism, Buddhism and Islam -, the place draws a lot of devotees from far and wide.
