COVID19: Assam outshines nation in recovery rate

Assam has surpassedthe 50% mark of recovery rate on Monday.

India'spresent total recovery rate is 51%. "Assam has achieved a 53% recovery rate",reported state Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma through his Twitter handle. "Sofar 2.17 lakhs testing for COVID19 has been conducted", the minister added.

As ofTuesday afternoon, there are 2205 COVID19 recovery cases as compared to 2103 ofactive cases. Total cases now stand at 4319. Yesterday, 245 patients weredischarged.
