Twelve markets across Barpeta have been ordered for a complete shut down on Tuesday by the district administration.

In the wake of the increasing cases across the district, this major decision was taken and announced by Munindra Sharma, the Deputy Commissioner of Barpeta.

Baghbar and Kalgachia markets have been closed as per order.
